My name is Patrick and I trained at the Le Coq International school in Paris and I work as a writer and Artistic Director with Tinderbox theatre company in Belfast. Since my appointment in 2016, I have implemented a unique artistic vision of exploring the methodology of Play resulting in the creation of contemporary performances, specialist training courses for emerging artists and art for social change campaigns. I was awarded the Stewart Parker BBC Drama Award for his production The Weein in 2009. The Man Who Fell To Pieces was nominated for a ZeBBie award for best play of 2018 and in 2021 I received a National Lottery Nomination for his continuous artistic programmes for artists during the pandemic. At Tinderbox I have directed a number of critically acclaimed works; Yerma; Lyric Theatre; Rhino (UK Theatre Award Winner 2024) Holding Ground; I’ve always like the name Marcus; Birds of Passage in the Half Light, (Top Pick at Edinburgh Festival 2022) Something Different March 2023 at the MAC and Dressed for Space Rotterdam Daken Dagen.  I also work as an accredited licensed Creative Therapist in Northern Ireland.

During the Pandemic, I began training as a Creative Therapist in order to explore the impact and power of creative practice. This journey has led me into having incredible holistic creative experiences woking with people across Northern Ireland . My role as an Holistic artist is simple; empowerment, inspiration and determination to live the best version of our lives.
